Head Coach: Don Dziagwa
Assistant Coaches: Thomas Dziagwa, Eric Hayes, Ron Myrick, Dion Thomas, Bryant Villota
Tampa Catholic comes in as a very known and well respected program from the state of Florida. They are led by legendary head coach Don Dziagwa. Dziagwa has a total count of 691 wins in his career along with 15 district championships and a state championship. He has coached the likes of NBA players Kevin Knox II (9th overall pick in 2018) and Johni Broome (35th overall pick in 2025). His latest 5-star project was the younger brother of Knox II, Karter. He is in his sophomore year at the University of Arkansas, and is projected to go in this years NBA draft around picks 30-40.
However in the present day, the Crusaders are led by junior guard, Ayden “Skoot” Donald. He holds one offer from HBCU D1 Bethune Cookman. Skoot as they call him is shifty guard who will look to lead the Crusaders offense in scoring and creating shots for his teammates. Donald averaged 10.8 PPG, 3.1 APG, 1.9 SPG last year as a sophomore.
To compliment him, will be KJ Morgan, a 6’8 senior who is committed to Georgia State University on a football scholarship. Morgan will be key for the Crusaders inside as he led the team last year with 7.5 RPG and a field goal percentage of 67%.
Sohan Alla will also look to provide some key senior leadership as they have big shoes to fill with the highly touted Willie Piggott Jr. transferring schools in October. Piggott led the team last year in almost every category, but will for sure need to fill his scoring. Never count out coach Dziagwa and his Crusaders though as they compete in this years Tony Sellitto Hawai’i Invitational.
